Former Fox News Reporter Slams ‘Conman’ Trump, Reveals ‘Right-Wing’ Conspiracy At His Former Network

Carl Cameron

Former Fox News reporter Carl Cameron on Monday slammed Presiden Donald Trump as a “conman” and said that “Trump colluded and coordinated with Russia to get elected in the 2016 presidential elections.”

Cameron also blasted his former network for intentionally spreading partisan misinformation.”

“I left Fox News because right-wing hosts drowned out straight journalism with partisan misinformation,” he said.

Cameron made the remarks in a promotional video about why he joined Front Page Live, a website whose goal is, in part, to serve as an antidote to the conservative Drudge Report.

“What’s a former Fox guy doing here on Front Page Live partnering with progressives?” Cameron, who worked at Fox News for more than two decades, said in the video. “Well, it’s about facts, not partisanship.”

Cameron, now Front Page Live’s chief political correspondent, said he joined Fox News in its early days because the “idea of fair and balanced news appealed to me.”

“But over the years, the right-wing hosts drowned out straight journalism with partisan misinformation. I left,” he added before noting that he has “unique insight and understanding of how the right operates and literally 30 years of covering Donald Trump.”

Cameron said his job at Front Page Live will be to “inform — that’s it” and touted the new website as “a powerful resource for anyone who wants real facts over partisan propaganda.”

Cameron teamed up with Joseph Romm, the founding editor of ClimateProgress, to create Front Page Live, the Post reported, which describes itself as “a site dedicated to helping diverse voices and content go viral, and a news source that reflects the values of the majority of good people on our amazing planet.”

“Part of our goal is to be an antidote to the Drudge Report. But whereas Drudge aggregates and viralizes right-wing content, which includes a lot of disinformation and climate science denial, we will aim to aggregate and viralize accurate news,” Romm, who serves as editor-in-chief and CEO, said in a statement.
